The Brief
Cedric Gervais is an internationally known superstar DJ and music producer – and friend of Madonna. His management company contacted us with a view to building a WordPress website that looked and felt more high end and in keeping with the circles Cedric moves in. The client wanted an easy way to keep news up to date and wanted a smooth and clear way to present Cedric’s gigs and releases.
The Challenges
We wanted to make good use of the high quality photos of Cedric without resorting to a ‘splash page’ so we built a full screen slideshow on the home page with a menu you can hide. We also designed the news page to be more interesting with some ‘masonry’ code where different size stories fit together seamlessly. Finally we added some sliding panels on his gig page where you can view the flyer and gig details. We have also created sites for other recording artists such as Fink and DJ Food.
